You get a download link in the confirmation email. _________________ Be careful when you follow the masses, because sometimes the 'm' is silent. |

You'll have to let me know what email you used. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

There is no confirmation email because no transaction went through. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

o.O let me check my paypal, that was the email I registered to my paypal, cause my hotmail email got hacked.... well dang it... it sent it to chance_14_99@hotmail.com -.- it's not even the primary email address on my paypal, and I can't get access back to that account cause the hackers sent a lot of spam mail with it so hotmail banned indefinitely -.- |

Are you looking at the right e-mail address? It goes to the email that is registered with PayPal, not the forum.
Sat staring at my inbox for about eight minutes waiting before I realized the store wouldn't be tied to the forum database. Was definitely a 'derp' moment. _________________ Be careful when you follow the masses, because sometimes the 'm' is silent. |

Yeah, my primary email address registered to my paypal is that aol address, it used to be the hotmail till last year, when it got banned due to all that spam mail that got sent through it, I can't even recover access to it, been trying for 6 months. I'd long since switched the primary to my aol account -.- |

...if you used one email address, why would you expect the confirmation email to be sent elsewhere? O_o
I've sent the download link in PM, as well as the contents of your confirmation email. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

I don't magically have access to paypal's information. The confirmation email is sent to the paypal email address you use to log in. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

Okay, I purchased the update when I got up this morning and I have not recieved a confirmation email yet. I can give you my email and both confirmation codes (yours and paypals) but it's definitely not there. I use multiple emails so I made sure to check paypal but the one it was supposed to send it to is empty, as are all of the others. I even checked spam: nothing. |

Do pay attention, will you? I've sent you the download URL in my email. _________________ "It's like making a cake, but instead of a cake it's a game and instead of frosting I have no life."

Thanks Frankto, that was generous. I figured out what the problem was and I will list it just in case anyone else makes the same clutzo mistake that I did. My paypal adress, the one I sign in with is a combination of my name at yahoo.com. However, the email that the document was sent to was not the same as my actual account email. In order to find the email that it was sent to I had to go to profile>Add or Edit Email. Why was this the case? No idea but I suppose I changed it some time in the past but it does not change the actual email username when you do this. I hope this prevents my problem from repeating itself.
Oh, and thanks again Frankto. |

Sorry for the sort-of thread necromancy (but considering the sticky nature of the thread, I think I'm okay), but I think I noticed an error in this otherwise awesome supplement.
Now, I don't know if this trend continues throughout the book, and I did a fresh download to make sure this wasn't a typo that's been corrected, but Kyushojutsu: Engi Renseiten, a Rank Five technique, has a level two mastery in Kyushojutsu: Keiren Teashi, which is a Rank Six technique.
That seems pretty backwards to me., having a R5 tech require two steps of mastery in a R6 tech. I just wanted to give you a heads up, Frankto.
And sorry if someone already posted this. If they have, then my search-fu is not strong today. |

The reasoning is quite simple; Engi Renseiten is a Combination technique that combines the effects of Keiren Teashi and Basshou Sanpo.
The rank is lower to balance out the save DC, since Keiren Teashi doesn't have a save. If you notice, Engi Renseiten has a higher complexity rating, signifying it being more advanced than the two that comprise it.

Thanks for explaining it. Now that I look, I can see various other examples of the same thing, so thanks for be patient, and not being a d-bag about it. |
