It’s true! Progress on the update is going well, and it should be ready by next week. Do not despair! In the meantime, someone started a thread about funny moments on the forums. It’s always nice to have a laugh, so check it out. And share yours, too!

I (finally) added the first chapter of the Foxhound fanfic by Kraken’s Ghost!

I got the permission by Kraken about a year ago but I knew that I would change the website again so I waited. And now it’s here!

This website costs money to keep up. This website offers a very large and mostly free anime conversion which most players can use freely. The only thing we ask in return is that if you want the printing rights to the file, you donate $1 to help fund the website. This helped for a time, and all was well.

Distribution of said file means that it’s available on the internet for download, in its unrestricted version. That means people won’t donate, won’t click the banners, the website costs even more money, since we have nothing to help sustain it with. It also means we’re basically paying you to download an ad-free, free product in which quite a lot of time has been invested. We’re not exactly writing this for our benefits, see.

We’re not asking for much. The project is still free, and has always been. You’ve never had to pay a cent to enjoy it and you never will, both for legal reasons and because the Frankto refuses to sell this particular project.

So if this keeps up, then the project will be taken down. The file won’t be available for download, and the forums will go away. I don’t want that, and I don’t think you want that either. Please, try to respect our work, and don’t let that happen.

And for they of dimmer wit, this is not a threat. It is a choice. You can make the choice to enjoy the project freely, or you can’t. None sorrier than I, that I have to do this.

Lo and behold, here comes a new website–again! This is the seventh incarnation of the Naruto: d20 website and after nearly three years, I still blame Fredto for all of it. But you wouldn’t want to hear about this all, and so I won’t talk about it.

Things are moving slowly these days, as I don’t have much to write about anymore, nor the time to do it–happens, when the file itself is nearly 700 pages. Still looking for new ideas, of course. Any artistic contribution is also welcome, within the boundaries of what the project can handle.

More to come later. I might even post regularly, too. Who knows?
